WELCOME TO THE LGBTQIA+ CENTER OF VAR

From the creation of a network of associations and professionals to the creation of the LGBTQIA+ Centre of Var.

In 2019, Planning Familial Varois, at the request of the Prefecture, brings together the department's LGBT+ associations and becomes the head of the LGBTQIA+ Network. Weekly drop-in centers welcome the LGBTQIA+ public for listening, information and referral to the Network's partners.

In 2022, the Network continues to build and diversify its activities: interventions in schools, film screenings and awareness-raising for professionals on welcoming LGBTQIA+ audiences. It has also made a name for itself in the media, testifying to its strengthened commitment to defending the rights and welcoming of LGBTQIA+ people in the region and into the city.

In 2024, at the request of the Var Prefecture, the Network built the Centre LGBTQIA+ du Var, piloted by Planning Familial Varois.
